About the ArtistI’m a local artist and have spent the last several years in the Santa Clarita Valley, about 35 miles north of Los Angeles. I had some formal art training in high school and at the local community college. Otherwise, I am self-taught. Most of my work consists of color and black and white pencil drawings. I have also worked with acrylics.
The subject of my art work has generally been Science Fiction and Fantasy, but I have recently enjoyed painting portraits and wildlife. I am also exploring digital art as well. |

In addition, I have participated in art shows to raise money for cancer awareness programs as well as programs that support wildlife preserves (such as actress Tipi Hedren’s* “Shambala” Wildlife Preserve and Roar Foundation (www.shambala.org). The money raised from the sales of my paintings was used for the operational costs of the wild life preserve.

Single Mothers Outreach 2023
Single Mothers Outreach was proud to announce this year’s Empowering HeArts Honorees whose lives personify this year’s theme, Building Hope. Six women were chosen whose lives depict resilience and triumph over challenging circumstances. Six local artists depicting the stories of these women have also been selected and SMO is thrilled to see the artwork they will present.
Empowering HeArts is an annual celebration of women who have changed their own lives and the lives of their children by being members of Single Mother’s Outreach!

Contracted Jobs
Previously, for six years, I was a contracted artist through a restaurant named Café Tu Tu Tango located at Universal City Walk (Universal Studios California). I would sell my art as well as current projects.
